I rarely get manicures done at salons. I love doing my own nails (now, I will pay for a top notch pedicure, but manicure, not so much). I love doing my own manicures so much, I thought, well, maybe I should record the process and show people how I do my nails. I break it down into 6 easy steps:
- Buff
- Base
- Coat
- Coat
- Clean-up
- Shiny Top Coat
It’s really as easy as that. The key to lasting manicures is based on each individual’s nail health and whether or not you let each coat have enough time to dry in between (in my experience). Watch the video, groove to the music (yay for Incognito!) and let me know what you think. Are there extra steps that you would add to your manicure routine? Sound off below!

Very nice! I totally paint outside the lines then wash my hands so the polish peels away :p

Yep, or if you let them dry and then take a shower, the paint outside the lines usually comes off as well.
