Experience RAIN Africa NYC

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the quaint launch event for Luxe Colore at Rain Africa in NYC  last week.

Luxe Colore is an online site that provides shoppers with an eclectic taste of “emerging market designers.” If you’re looking for a place to find new brands, Luxe Colore is for you. What better place to have their launch than at a place like Rain Africa NYC? Rain Africa is a unique skin care retail store in midtown NYC that specializes in handmade products from South Africa

What I like about this beauty boutique is that it creates an experience for the consumer. Not only are the products handmade but you can play “formulator” by mixing your own products. The website calls the area where you can make your own scrub the “scrub deli”. They also have a soap deli where you can mix different types of soaps. Any beauty enthusiast visiting New York will gladly find an oasis in Rain Africa.
