I had my path all planned out for the FNO. I had about 10 stops I was going to make and it would be fabulous and I would have so many things to blog about. Well, that didn’t happen. But what did happen was I discovered the amazingness that is the Henri Bendel skin care floor.
First off, he entire store is a girl’s dream. Three floors filled with makeup, jewelry, and accessories. Hello Heaven! The skin care floor is tucked away toward the back of the store. Here you will find some of the hidden gems in the beauty industry. First up, is Grand Central Beauty. To B&B readers this is no secret as I first introduced the brand when I reported back on my HBA findings back in June. I brought a few friends along, and Lauren got to try out the brands mask. Stay tuned for my step by step tutorial of how to mix and apply the mask.

I got to see how Lash Cards work:

How innovative is this? I know I’ve had one too many times when I’ve done an intricate eye shadow look only to then apply mascara and have it smidge onto my eyeshadow. That wont happen with lash cards.

Two new to me skincare lines are Cosmetics27 and Snowberry. Both very different but innovative within their niche. Cosmetics27 stand out products are the cleanser27 which is cool because it starts out as a wax texture and once your rub it in your skin it’s like an oil. When you apply water it emulsifies and becomes slightly foamy. The founder mentioned that it’s great multi-use product such as cleansing heavy makeup off your face. The Essence27 is a popular serum that has many actives to treat your skin. Lastly, Snowberry is a New Zealand based brand with lots of “antioxidants, enzyme and peptide actives.” I loved the gojii berry, kiwi jellybeans and coffee beans they had at the display to represent some of the ingredients in each line of their products. Can not wait to further explore these products.
So, that was my FNO, shcmoozing and talking skin with some great people. Did you participate in FNO activites in NYC or your city? If so, what did you do?
